Grand Prix Breeders is proud to offer our handsome registered Hanoverian Stallion Arko Advantage GP to a limited number of mares for the 2024 breeding season.

This very special young stallion is sired by top international show jumper Arko III who remained the number 1 horse in Europe for 3 consecutive years, winning more than 1,000,000 Euros. Under the saddle of Nick Skelton, Arko III achieved many tremendous wins along with a 10th place finish individually at the 2004 Olympic games in Athens. Such a successful stallion that he has now been cloned!

Arko III's sire Argentinus sired more than 400 show jumping horses in Germany alone, including over 30 approved stallions worldwide. He was Hanoverian stallion of the year in 2005. Arko's dam line goes back to the Dutch line 002, one of the best sport horse lines in the world having produced a whole series of successful showjumpers including Darco (Ludo Philippaerts ), Now Or Never (Piet Raymaker ), Friso (Guido Dominici ), Sweet Dream (Yann Candele) just to mention a few!

Arko Advantage's dam is the gorgeous imported Hanoverian mare Echo. Also an accomplished hunter, jumper and equitation horse, she has been accepted into the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program based on her performance record. Echo was brought into Canada by Spruce Meadows where she began her show career up and down the west coast with professionals and amateurs. Her impeccable breeding starts with her sire Escudo 1, 2009 Stallion of the Year and winner of his performance test with a convincing 144 points. Escudo 1 is an outstanding type with expression and beautiful gaits, all of which he passed on to his daughter Echo. He is sired by Celle State Stud Stallion Espri, well known for producing many outstanding showjumpers. Echo's dam sire is Don Carlos one of the foundation sires of dressage and showjumpers, siring many licensed sons including Don Juan and Drosselklang II. 

Arko Advantage GP stands at 16.1 hh and shares his mother's beauty, stunning movement and great brain.  He was the Champion Jumper Foal at the Canadian Hanoverian Inspection at South Lane Farm in 2017. He has an incredibly relaxed attitude and shows talent for the hunter and jumper rings. He has been carefully started under saddle, beginning his show career in 2022, winning reserve Champion at his second show. His natural talent is evident both under saddle and free jumping. He is well balanced with lovely gaits and rideability beyond reason. No spook, always willing and putting in his best effort. We could not be happier with his progress and look forward to his future.

Stud fee for 2024 is $1200 CDN plus HST which includes the first collection, container deposit and 3 year live foal guarantee. Shipping expenses to be paid by mare owner, subsequent collections are $300 + HST. Some availability for on-farm AI and mare care, contact us to discuss.
